Welcome to international-yogacouncil.com (the “Website”), owned and operated by International Yoga Council LLC (“IYC,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Wyoming limited liability company.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Website, including all registration, verification, membership, certification, directory, payment, and related services offered by International Yoga Council LLC.

By accessing the Website, creating an account, submitting an application, making a payment, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Website.

 

  1. Scope of Services

International Yoga Council LLC operates as an independent international registry for yoga practitioners, instructors, schools, organizations, and related entities.

Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Identity registration
  • Professional credential verification
  • Registry administration
  • Membership management
  • Certification administration
  • Public directory services
  • Credential verification services

International Yoga Council LLC does not:

  • provide yoga instruction;
  • certify competency beyond the scope of our published standards;
  • employ instructors or schools listed in the registry;
  • arrange classes between students and instructors;
  • operate as a booking platform;
  • act as a payment intermediary between instructors and students;
  • guarantee the quality or safety of services provided by any listed individual or organization.

 

  1. Eligibility

You represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 18 years of age or otherwise legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
  • all information submitted is complete, accurate, and truthful;
  • all documents submitted belong to you or are submitted with proper authorization;
  • you will promptly update your information if it changes.

Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or permanent removal from the registry.

 

  1. Applications and Credential Verification

Submission of an application constitutes a request for review and verification only.

Payment of an application fee does not guarantee:

  • approval;
  • certification;
  • membership;
  • registration;
  • listing in the public registry.

International Yoga Council LLC reserves the sole and absolute discretion to approve, deny, suspend, or revoke any application based upon its published standards, supporting documentation, ethical considerations, or other relevant information.

Applicants may be requested to submit additional documentation before a determination is made.

Verification timelines are estimates only and may vary depending upon application complexity and response times from third parties.

 

  1. Membership, Registration and Renewal

Where applicable:

  • registrations and memberships are valid only for the published registration period;
  • renewal requirements may include updated documentation, continuing education, or other requirements established by International Yoga Council LLC;
  • failure to renew may result in expiration of registration and removal from the public registry.

International Yoga Council LLC reserves the right to revise registration standards and renewal requirements from time to time.

 

  1. Fees and Payment

All fees are quoted in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

Fees may include:

  • Application fees
  • Verification fees
  • Membership fees
  • Annual renewal fees
  • Certification fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Other published service fees

International Yoga Council LLC reserves the right to change fees at any time. Changes do not affect payments already completed.

 

  1. Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through authorized third-party payment providers, including Stripe, Inc.

International Yoga Council LLC does not store your complete credit card information.

By making a payment you authorize the payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.

Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, International Yoga Council LLC may suspend or reject the related application until payment has been successfully completed.

 

  1. Refund Policy

Application and Verification Fees

Application, verification, identity review, and administrative processing begin shortly after payment is received.

Accordingly, all application and verification fees are non-refundable, including where:

  • an application is denied;
  • an applicant withdraws an application;
  • an applicant fails to submit requested documents;
  • an application expires due to inactivity;
  • the applicant no longer wishes to proceed.

These fees compensate International Yoga Council LLC for administrative review and verification activities rather than guaranteeing approval.

Membership and Renewal Fees

Membership and annual renewal fees are generally non-refundable once payment has been processed.

Users are responsible for cancelling automatic renewals before the next billing cycle.

 

  1. Subscription Cancellation

Where recurring payments are offered, subscribers may cancel future renewals through their account dashboard or by contacting International Yoga Council LLC.

Cancellation requests should be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled renewal date.

Cancellation prevents future renewals only.

Previously processed payments remain non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

 

  1. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If a payment is reversed through a chargeback or payment dispute:

International Yoga Council LLC reserves the right to:

  • suspend the associated account;
  • remove the public registry listing;
  • terminate membership;
  • recover unpaid fees;
  • refuse future applications until outstanding balances have been resolved.

Submitting fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent suspension.

 

  1. Registry Revocation

International Yoga Council LLC may suspend or revoke any registration, certification, membership, or directory listing if:

  • fraudulent documents are submitted;
  • credentials are altered or falsified;
  • identity information is inaccurate;
  • professional misconduct is established;
  • the registrant violates these Terms;
  • continued listing may adversely affect the integrity of the registry.

Revocation does not entitle the registrant to any refund.

 

  1. Public Directory

Information published in the public directory is intended solely for credential verification and professional reference.

Users may not:

  • harvest registry information;
  • copy registry data for commercial purposes;
  • use automated scraping software;
  • reproduce directory content without written permission.

 

  1. Intellectual Property

All Website content, including text, graphics, logos, trademarks, designs, software, databases, and registry structure, is owned by or licensed to International Yoga Council LLC.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without prior written permission.

 

  1. Third-Party Relationships

International Yoga Council LLC neither employs nor supervises any practitioner, instructor, school, or organization listed within the registry.

Any educational services, professional advice, classes, events, or financial arrangements between users remain solely between those independent parties.

International Yoga Council LLC assumes no responsibility for any injury, dispute, financial loss, contractual disagreement, or other claim arising from interactions between users and listed registrants.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, International Yoga Council LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of the use of the Website or registry services.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

 

  1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless International Yoga Council LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

  • your breach of these Terms;
  • your misuse of the Website;
  • your violation of applicable laws;
  • inaccurate information submitted by you.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
